No, it all runs locally on your phone. Partly because I don't have enough server processing power, and partly so as not to use up a lot of bandwidth (and also so it still works without an internet connection). And partly to prove that the N900 is awesome.

I have another suggestion, please update first post including recognised commands. Right now you need to dig the whole thread to know how to use Saera.
First post updated.

Also, optification update: wow it's hard, I can't even get the source packages to build on my machine, much less optified. Anyone running out of space right now should just use the optify_pocketsphinx script from the beginning of the thread, it'll take me a while.

Excellent work with the Saera/Modrana interface. This is really slick.

I'm new here and I have exactly no idea where to get these packages.. is it possible to attach the download links at the 1st post? So everyone else can know what to do.. I pretty sure I'm not the only one..

huh... Hint: search for 'maemo' + 'packages'. Bonus point: include 'repository'.

You should thank MartinK's excellent documentation, as I have never yet tested that on a device (as mentioned, mine still has a broken USB port.)

I would port it to the N9 if somebody donated one as a development platform.
