A valid point. It seems the rotten in this case might be using arrow keys (if present) to move the caret out of the word. If I peck with a finger (arrow keys or not), everything works as I suppose it should. I can go into the word with arrows, but after correcting I have to peck out to continue writing without any weirdness i.e. moved letters.

Absolutely. There was that one project last year, but nothing's been heard in ages.

We need that Swype-like project back on track indeed! I mean: TOHKBD2 is coming very soon now but I still want to be able to swype my way until it arrives 'cause it's better than just typing like it is now.

This is a bug with arrows. It happens always with arrows and never with "normal" cursor movent.

This would not be used in a phone size screen, would it? Just curious...

Thank's, I'll try.

Swiftkey has a tumb layout, which is very nice to use in my opinion.

I want a similar layout.

Hi all, although the Norsk keyboard is mostly compatible, a few bits are missing (and way too many options for accents). So in case anyone needs it, here is the Icelandic keyboard layout

Icelandic Keyboard

I'll try and whip up an rpm at some point, but only had this phone a weekend so getting the hang of it more.

Cheers,

Can someone help me please ?
I often use the Hebrew keyboard and want to change the place of "paste" icon and start of predictive Hebrew words from left side to the right side.
Is it possible? Can someone explain what to change and which files, to get it ?
Thanks

Based on saberaltria's Dolphin Keyboard with color emojis and following cvp's instructions, I made a French-Swiss Keyboard.

First install the Dolphin keyboard core.

Then put the 3 files of the archive below in /usr/share/maliit/plugins/com/jolla/layouts/

Start the Dolphin app and in Keyboard settings, chose Emoji Keyboard. Restart Keyboard service.

In the settings of the Jolla, chose "French +" in Settings - System - Text entry - Keyboards.

Reboot the phone.
Attached Files
File Type: zip French-Swiss.zip (5.4 KB, 89 views)
