Just my thoughts:
  • I don't like the icon in the status bar, i rather prefer the default icon used for SMS, but colored in green. Looks more consistent with whole UI, and is not confusing at all (blue for SMS & other IMs and green for wazapp). Wonder if possible.

  • Wish there's an option to change the LPS icon to white. It should be white as default, like the rest of the LPS icons (SMS, email, twitter, updates etc), giving the option to switch to green. Again, integration with the OS & UI (will look less like a mod / hack)

  • Possibility of an option to show / hidde notifications in Options>Notifications>Notifications>__Wazapp__> like Twitter, XMS, QNeptunea & others have?

Again, just my two cents, and of course (needless to say) keep the good work, all of you guys are making a truly professional app. Congratulations. Expect some beers with my name in the following days

I disagree with all of these requests, but I think giving the option to users is a good idea.

Well, it's all about the likes. Of course giving the option to the users is aceptable (integrated in the app, and not requiring the edit of .py files, is not n00b-friendly at all)

Ok, booted into Windows, installed bluestacks, installed whatsapp, registered and now waiting for Registration code. Let's see.

EDIT: Worked. Thanks a bunch.

Icons you want to change are in
Code:
/usr/share/themes/blanco/meegotouch/icons
Change them as you wish, app is open source.

Sometimes, when you follow the rules and guidelinnes blindly - you will never make something better or improve an existing design.

Think about it.

P.S. Don't ask me to explain MS Paint to you or why your icons do not appear on LPM or status bar. I'll get very nice on you then.

I installed the last version, but Instead of new LPM or status notifier icon I get a red square. Already rebooted twice, no luck. Any other idea?

Idle seems to have improved too, mine went from 70mA to 31mA, phone remained constantly warm and on charger until this version, it's cooled down. Maybe it's not because of Wazapp but I'm glad things seem normal now
