This is why Android (and open in general) is so cool.

Take a look at the Panasonic Toughbook Android tablet:

http://www.ubergizmo.com/2011/06/pan...ndroid-tablet/

Designed for users who need a tablet that can handle a little roughhousing, the enterprise-grade tablet also packs security features (embedded at hardware level) to keep whatever is stored on the tablet a little bit safer. The Toughbook tablet features a 10.1” XGA daylight-viewable multi-touch display, GPS, 3G connectivity, and full-shift battery life. Judging from the released press shot, the rugged-looking tablet seems to be running on Android 2.2 Froyo.
This is the first tablet (that I've seen) not aimed at the consumer sector, but for enterprises that need this caliber of rugged devices.

Way to go! Looks great!

.. but no honeycomb?! Only Panasonic...

More Tegra 2 gaming goodness! Next up, a similar game to GoF mentioned a few posts back. This time it's Vendetta Online, a seeming Eve Online copycat:

Great graphics, and it seems that there is compelling play!

Almost identical to the PC version, and Tegra exclusive as of Jan.

Fraid it didnt work (its mains powerd so its not a power issue). The drive is detected, but the log shows it being "unmounted" rather than mounted strangely.

The good news is that a USB floppy drive I tried did work. Just need to put the floppy in before plugging it in!

This is a nice twist,

The Sprint HTC Flyer (HTC EVO View 4G) will come with the pen:

Still the $399 on 2yr contract isn't looking terribly appealing...

The Galaxy Tab 7 is getting refreshed with a 1.2GHz chip. By all indications its the same brain as the Galaxy S2, which means the ultra capable Exynos 4210, and one of the fastest devices on the market! Certainly faster than Tegra 2 devices at most tasks.

This device should have some incredibly chops, especially if the resolution remains 1024x600.

Amazing.
I'd rather have this than the 10.1, myself, but I really do hope they bump up the resolution. 1024x600 is juuuust a tad lower than I like even at this size.

That.. is hilarious.
