@Jordi I tried to edit your layout in order to be able to use it with Italian xT9.

I noticed that you changed Xt9Handler.qml inserting FR in the Xt9EngineThread block. The downside of this approach is that you can't use also the English Dolphin keyboard, as it will show the French dictionary.

Since I use both English and Italian keyboards, I need to have the two dictionaries working. So I kept EN into Xt9Handler.qml, copied it into IT_Xt9Handler.qml, changed EN to IT and then edited it+.conf

name=Italiano +
languageCode=IT +
handler=layouts/IT_Xt9Handler.qml
Finally, I restarted the keyboard service and got everything working.

The only issue I faced is that changing the keyboard is slightly slowed down.

Also, would you mind if I publish my files on openrepos? Of course I would credit you.

Can someone explain me how to lock Shift key in Dolphin keyboard like in official keyboard ?
For now it can lock shift only for one click,like a simple capital letter when you start new row...

If stock keyboard locks with two clicks on SHIFT (and I believe so) then my Dolphin installation locks the same way.

Did you try a restart?
Of course only the dolphin keyboard service. Not the phone (maybe as second/last resort).

Ohhh... no... I did only killall maliit-server. Will try it now...

* restart from setting is not help
* restart maliit server is not help
* reinstalling core kb (harbour-dolphin-keyboard-1.3-2.armv7hl.rpm) is not help
* reinstalling english kb (harbour-dolphin-english-1.2-4.armv7hl.rpm) is not help
* restart lipstick is not help

Any idea ?
