Just wanted to post a quick reply saying thanks, and that kdesup-3.5.8.deb will not install if nmap has previously been installed.

Removal of this package, and then updating kdesup will fix this issue.

If you mean how do you set up a desktop shortcut then see this post where I described how to set up a desktop shortcut; make a taskbar short cut and set up a hotkeys shortcut.

Trying to reinstall it drives to the same issue.
I had to remove anything relative to kde in /var/lib/dpkg/status so I can reinstall the package. Now unpacking ; I hope I have enough space :-)
I am having a smiliar problem. I am not real knowledgable in Linux and don't understand how to do what this poster explained. Can someone help me out in simple terms a noob could do?

I want to thank you, penguinbait for all your work on this project. I installed KDE about a week ago, but had to uninstall it because of the change in MicroB's font. I know it really isn't that big of a deal to most people, but for me, my intent of installing KDE was not to replace Maemo but have something to play around with. I wouldn't mind having a 1.5 GB chunk of space on my SD card in use and that's it [meaning, having KDE installed only means giving up a little space, and no negatives], but it really made MicroB almost unusable. This font seems to be what is defaulted in Konqueror, and although it can be changed in Control Center for Konqueror, I don't think the same can be said for MicroB. Just from a never-used-Linux-before, but hopefully logical standpoint, maybe a solution would be to have Nokia Sans font defaulted. I don't know if this is even possible, I probably have oversimplified an otherwise extremely complicated thing...

Once again, I'm not trying to be over-critical, and really do appreciate all the work you've done.

This is fixed in later versions, v2 and v3

Look at boot from SD ded

and KDE v3 deb installer for boot from SD systems
