Also I want to quote kojacker from the MeeGo forum (btw. who had the idea to split the community? )
As always he finds words much nicer than mine.

I understand you'd love a N950 (we all would, right?) but we have so many great prizes i hope you'll still find it worthwhile to enter You've nothing to lose, and at the very worst you'll get some good publicity for your application. At best you might be a winner, win a device or a trip, or some cash to your paypal to reward your hard work. You might also find a lot more users for your application, and people who'd like to help you with your project going forward. So it's all good

As zehjotkah mentions above, there's a slight issue with Harmattan as none of the organisers can test the application at the moment. The competition has a duty of care to make sure (as best it can) that the applications highlighted are trustworthy and safe for users. I'm sure as soon as someone has access to a Harmattan device this restriction will be lifted, so don't let it put you off developing in the meantime!

Here is the first batch of users who will receive the N950 for development. That's around half of the devices. More users will be announced tomorrow.

Community_device_program/Nokia

I'm among the lucky ones. I'll use the N950 only for good, and to make good, hopefully with your help excellent, games for it and the N9.

Congrats mmlado and zehjotkah! We'll have atleast 2 n950 owners in our group

And I've just spotted helex, well done! Up to 3!

It's so annoying seeing a list of real names without the usernames, I can't tell who is who.. Any other friends of the competition getting a n950?

Yes, I see hard and stressful weeks coming...

Hard to follow all the N9/50 stuff, arguing with the Qt SDK, preparing my new project especially for the N9 and to pack bags for the weekend (Intel AppUp Application Lab Munich) at the same time.

Yes, I wrote the nickname behind the real name in the application form. I was in the minority... mostly only real names at this list.
Don't know why I did so, but if it only was good for the fact that you could find me now... mhhh, let's say I've done it especially for you!

That means MeeGo Harmattan Apps can be submitted as well.
Please write in you submission (or edit your existing one) if the submitted app is for the N900 (maemo or MeeGo CE) or for the N9/N950 (MeGo Harmattan).

Thanks!

Hi,

I am trying to get the LiveTransfer (http://code.google.com/p/livetransfer) application concept ready for the competition today, however the version what will be there will not be the final version of it as I am going to develop it further, but the entry should describe the idea and give an alpha platform for your solutions

P.S If you like the idea please say it, as i feed on positive feedback

Btw, when is the final hour? is it 23:59?

Cheers,
Juhapekka
