I am still thinking about the capture bitton. I am not sure where the issue could be. My capture button is larger than the stock camera one so how come the stock one works better?

yaaaay power issue is fixed.
the timer is another critical feature. amazing how you can still keep the really useful things coming. i really like the ui with the slider. the ui for getting to it is nice, too, but its counter-intuitive. i personally think theres no room for more buttons or a larger icon, but there should be some indication of a timer ui existing before you click video.
a whiny feature request: that you preserve modified sound files across upgrades. dunno what the correct way to do this is, maybe move them out of the way with preinst if they exist and then replace them with postinst? this is not even remotely important.
i honestly dont know, but its true. for me, if you moved the icon to the edge {or took up mcbooks suggestion and made it clickable a few more px to the right}, im fairly sure id be fine.

I did not want to add an extra button on top of the viewfinder because I feel it's already crowded as well.
The trick is to divert the ones that come with cameraplus and put the modified ones in the same place where the sound files get installed (Make sure to preserve the names).
If I tap the area between the button and the right part of the screen then camera captures an image.

yea, i agree. perhaps changing the video icon to be a clock + camcorder somehow? not many pixels, but...
sorry, im not a sound editor; the ones i use are not mine and are not licensed for distribution.

Could you check with 0.0.20? I added some margins to the button and it seems to do the job.

* Play a notification sound if camera fails to focus
* Play focus acquired sound even if we have focus
* Rotate images in post capture view to follow device orientation
* Reworked the Slider component
* Try to prevent accidental focus reticle movement when capture button is missed
