I attach two screenshot taked from browser and terminal (with ls -l /root/kde-installer) after 15 minutes of installation... How you can see the 300MB file was not downloaded...
Any idea? Obviously the internet connection work fine...

How about anything in your application manager log? Its really wierd?

the files can be downloaded manually from

http://tablethacker.com/software


Can you get there with your tablet? perhaps DNS problems??

I confirm that installing wget manually your deb download the 300MB file...
It is very strange.
Now I'm downloading the file, I hope that this time work

P.S. I can manually download the file, so this is not a DNS problem

So your saying, if you install wget, the deb will then download?

I will look into it - any application manager logs???

This is how its called, so I am not sure how wget would effect it?
/root/kde-installer/wget -c http://www.tablethacker.com/software/KDE358v2.tar.bz

Disregard what I said about untarring not working. I was wrong it does untar I was just so impatient that I shut down the tablet before it was done.

Confirm that after manually installation of wget all work perfectly.
I successfully installed KDE
However I don't understand why I had to install wget...

There is a missing library not on the new system, I use wget, so my wget was not working. I had tested but had previously installed wget already so mine worked.

You all are not crazy, its just me

I will have v4 ready in a hour or two and I reccomend using v4 instead anyway.

UPDATED to v4


Whats new in v4, the problem outlined below, and Microb shortcut on the desktop.

Shortcuts added
CTRL + (hildon menu button) = COPY
SHIFT + (hildon menu button) = paste

updated the installer for Diablo.

Yes! Thank you Penguinbait! So you have the microb-in-kde fix built in now? Will have to try this first thing tomorrow.
