Sadly nokiabot...
In the west most people have nooooo idea ..
Water comes pressurized from a tap with a turn of the wrist.. hot or cold on demand. Or utilizing the best in wasteful technology...the equiv. in (what is it again?) energy wasted to produce 1 plastic bottle is what...1000 glasses of purified water?....allll for 1 plastic bottle of water.
food is grown, killed, prepared, precooked and packaged..
so it means many many many people have no idea how to grow their own food..or prepare it even.
It makes for a dependent population.
I've had the great education of being raised and living on a farm and the luxury of living in megalopoli and....
even back in the day ...
I remember meeting many even then...
who thought milk came from a carton...
sad..but ..
It is the way of things...
Nowaday....well ...we are talking multiple-generational-f'-d upped-ed-ness frankly.
I'm not blanket statementing everyone in the west...
but I am most certainly talking of the majority of the population.
If food stopped being shipped anywhere here longer than 3 days consecutively it means empty stores and a very scared population.
And the beginnings of social breakdown.
The warehousing systems here aren't meant for stockpiling.
Just the way things have become....

Wanted to enter this month's competition with some of my rare retro Nokia device like this one, but since HtheB completely overwhelmed (ruined) anything electronic, so here is this one:

Nothing modern, nothing electronical, perhaps it was the same view 100 years ago?

Took with Panasonic CM1, I used built-in retro style filter, so no post editing.

I was hoping that I would manage to visit my parents in this month that I could entry to copetition with my 80's ghettoblaster.

But I didn't so this pic of my trance/techno/dance music collection will has to be good enough for this time.

Took with Jolla and I used Sailfish app Filters by mholo65.

It is very tempting to vote for HtheB's electronics collection but, based on the picture composition and the sentimental value, my vote goes to:

3. Copernicus.

Hard to choose! I'll vote for #7, eekkelund; nicely composed, and very retro.
