On a positive note, if you're keen on OC'ing, then you will hopefully have a good candidate for a test subject when you device starts failing.

I think there are small businesses out there which i think could do this kind of re-work if they were aware of what we need... i'm thinking about people who used to mod gaming devices years ago before it became an illegal practise. My guess is if someone would know what they doing, then replacing such chipset should not be much of an issue.

If you are looking for 3630 chips you can.get them off milestone 2 and droidx dead phone assuming they didn't die because of water damage.

You need to do your homework !!!! the N900 was in fact sold as a FLAGSHIP device by Nokia !!!.
The N900 - I have never seen an advert for it on TV. Nor a billboard advertising it's existence. It is NOT mainstream. It is a niche device. Based on these premises I couldn't ever call it Nokia's "Flagship" device.
Now, the N8. That's at least got adverts. More "Flagship".
