gpg is available on the command line, but I'm not aware of any GUI front-ends.

Just browse through http://repository.maemo.org/extras/pool/diablo/, your package would in either free or non-free, under a directory named after its first letter.

Extras
http://repository.maemo.org/extras/pool/diablo/

Extras devel
http://repository.maemo.org/extras-devel/pool/diablo/

SDK
http://repository.maemo.org/pool/diablo/

Most packages will be in free, just browse down through the directory structure and download the armel.deb files for latest version. The i386.debs files aren't needed, unless you are running Maemo on an x86 PC. Replace "diablo" in those URLs with "chinook" to find chinook packages.

What are the differences between 'free' and 'non-free'? (I'm assuming you have to pay for one?)

No, there are no paid apps in the maemo.org repositories. The distinction is about freedom, not cost. The "free" sections contain packages that come with a Free Software licence, while "non-free" contain proprietary ones.

Ahhhh, ok. Figures. I think I found all the apps I wanted from there except one. Thanks for the help so far guys! I'm sure I'll think up some more questions, lol.

Oh, does anyone know of a good case for the Nokia? Preferably something like an Otterbox type case?

Ok, already thought of one!

Anyone know of a good windows app that will let me download google maps maps for the Maemo Mapper program? Any other tips / ideas for Maemo Mapper?

Also, I have Maemo Mapper installed - is it ok to delete the OEM map program and maps?

I would say yes (it's not that good), but if there's any chance you might want to use it in the future make a backup of the maps (the "map" directory in the internal memory "card") as they are not available for download anymore.
