Fire up your Nokia Internet Tablet Updater, Nokia just released the first official OS2008 (v. 2007.50-2) update for both the Nokia N810 and N800 Internet Tablets. Both updates offer bug fixes and minor optimizations. The OS2008 update for the Nokia N800 Internet Tablet however, now offers full functionality which takes it out from the beta release. Links: Nokia Internet Tablet Software Update Wizard for the PC. Nokia N810 Firmware image. Nokia N800 Firmware image. Changelog.

When you say "Buy" what sort of £'s are we looking at ?
Is it worth the extra to the standard mappers?

Churning away on the download. 21% at ~20KB/sec, been going for about 15-20 minutes now. Hopefully the official release for n810 and n800 will mean lots more ported applications to OS2008 =)

*edit* anyone who's already finished feel like seeding a torrent? I just dropped to about 5KB/sec and it doesn't seem to be budging ...

I'm uploading it to my .Mac account as we speak, but that'll take about 40 mins to finish. I'd run a torrent tracker, but I'm not sure how to yet. If I figure out how inside the 40 mins, I'll post details. I've got a server in a data-centre running Debian Etch, so if anyone can give me tips to get a torrent tracker up and running quickly, I'll see what I can do.
