I would rather have a decepticon. They can fly, you know.

Oh, and this is the funniest goddam thread ever started on this forum. I am hating technut now because my ribs hurt. If you don't understand the connection then you are a stoopid iPhone-toting tablet-bashing no-sense-having N810-auctioning sim-card-into-SD-slot-jamming incontinent *****.

My apologies in advance to the truly incontinent.

Up yours Adam. Just for that I'm writing a virus that will insert TRIPLE spaces after every period on the internet.

OH yea, how about triple periods...

PS: I will NEVER break out of my double space after period habit. I've been typing like that for years!

Don't know about that, however there's a very simple way (no code required) to AT LEAST make them look for a thread related to their problem/question/latest discovery and append it there instead of creating the Nth duplicate thread of the day... It's commonly used on other boards : just require a minimum "level" (number of posts, membership duration, karma, etc.) before new users are allowed to *create* new threads.

It's not something you do when you're just starting the forum, like Reggie did two years ago, but now that it has reached critical mass and may even be in danger of going ballistic, it could be a good idea...

PS: sorry for following up on gemniii's on-topic post, which is totally off-topic in this thread, but I just spent my daily humour quota in another one :-)

p.s. Nice posts guys. But don't you know the answer? And don't tell me to search, I already did.
Dumb ***, your answer is right here.

But that's *this* thread?!

This thread is too long!!! I'm not going to read the whole thing! I suppose you found that with the stupid thread-search thingy... well good for you but I'm a busy guy, I don't have time for that stupid stuff. If Nokia doesn't make this easier to use, I'm going to buy a cellphone!

Just give me the answer, I don't care if you have answered it before. In the time you wasted showing me where the answer is, you could have just posted it again! Dumb ***

I've already pointed someone to this thread... should I feel bad for that?

No! The more the merrier! I welcome newbies to this thread with open arms! They often bring fresh new ideas with them!

(Or at least they think they do, so they start a new thread about it. Then they get told they should have searched and if they had they would have discovered it has been discussed to death already. Then they get pissed off and leave, and YOU are to blame! Dumb ***!)
