The General (as always) is pretty spot on. It seems that even in this power user audience the split is pretty close to 50/50 between PPC and Intel.

The issue isn't making a Universal binary (that's easy to do), it's just the testing time we need to devote to each platform - Intel and PPC. On the OS side, the Quicktime subsystem changed from Tiger to Leopard so the coding/testing cycle there is not trivial.

I'll let the poll run for a week or so and see what results we get and from that we'll direct our efforts towards the appropriate release.

I've got Leopard on an Intel MBP and an old G4 PPC Mac mini.

I've got Tiger on an iMac G5, but going to push it to Leopard soon.
