Yay! Nokia has just released new firmware upgrades for the Nokia N810 and N800 Internet Tablets that adds a Seamless Software Upgrade Feature. Based on Maemo 4.1 (Diablo),Â* the new OS2008 feature upgrade lets you now perform future OS upgrades over-the-air (WLAN only). A new automatic notification from the home screen will now notify you of new versions of the OS and system apps, including third party applications. The new firmware also replaces the current email app with an open source one based on Modest and tinymail. restored - applications installed.
only problem so far is that personal menu + large status bar clock can't install (application manager gives an "applicatoin package not found" error).
Else - everything looks fine - and it's now possible to always launch finger keyboard on screen touch - hooray.

I was unable to install FBReader until I set the distribution to chinook, instead of leaving it blank. I've added chinook to the extras catalogue too, and got a load more applications available

pixelseventy2,same here. since diablo defaults to the diablo path on the repositorys you need to do that..

Have you noticed that the version of RTCOMM shipped with Diablo does not include MSN or purple lib support?

If someone wants to download only the armel debs from the repo and try a SSU, maybe this will help:
Then again quite a number of packages are probably not there
