Hate to bump this older thread; however I just reinstalled my N810 from the ground up and wondered if any updates were planned.

As I'm using the Yellownotes Home applet quite frequently and I'm missing some features, I started poking around in the source last weekend.

I want to add some functionality which allows having more than one note. Bascially some additional buttons on the top for creating a new note, deleting a note, navigating to the next / previous note and an indicator wihch note out of how many notes is currently being displayed.

Though no promises. I have some C knowledge and the source is not too difficult to understand. But I have no experience with developing apps for Maemo or with Maemo SDK/Scratchbox.

Oh wow.

I'm quite sure the community could assist you - I haven't programmed C in this millennium! So I'll be of no help to you.

Ive always thought that along with more than one page of notes as said above, a cool feature would be to allow a sketch option.

This program needs to be put in Extras. It is THAT good.

If there is no setting for transparency in the applet settings, the transparency of the home screen applets is set by the theme.
