Try to boot again (taking the battery out for some seconds). I have the same card and boot fails almost every other time. You should also do a filesystem check (fsck). I think a 1G card is enough, there's 200MB free space left for me.

Maybe I'm the last one left that just can't get Mer running on his 770. It just hangs at the end of the first load, just after entering usernames and such. The progress stops maybe at 98% from the look of it. Happened to me with 0.10, 0.11 and 0.12. Using 1GB Kingston RSMMC. Any suggestions?
Disabling swap at first start doesn't help.

1. The application manager dialogs didn't seem to have any way to close them
2. The vitural keyboard appeared for all text boxes. A tool to turn it off would be nice since n810 doesn't need it.
3. A tool to add items to the mer menu would be very nice. Even if it's just a cli app that takes a .desktop file and category as arguments and generates a menu entry it would be great since currently you have to launch jaunty software from xterm

I did it with a 1 GB card on 770. the problem I had was that the swap partition was not recognised by the assistant : no Swap = no Mer on 770
Does the assistant ask you to confirm that it can use the swap ?
if not you have to set the type partition to S with sfdisk

One question, though: There's some things that I'd expect to be known, like windows blocking each other or can't be closed, pre-installed applications not starting etc. ... would it still be useful to file "user-level bugs" (=I can describe what happens, but not why) about such things or would that only generate useless noise ATM because you're aware of these issues, anyway? (Or would rather have more qualified bug reports at this stage of development?)
Also, is the maemo bugzilla (product Mer) the preferred place for bug reports? Even for applications running on Mer but have errors?)
