The N810 is form but the N800 is function.
Word. Now if I could only get that cool transflective screen on my n800.

IMHO it's not bad. Speakers are in a good place.
But the tiny buttons on top were a pain for me.
My long fingernails broke or chipped, trying to push the buttons.
Also,no metal cover like the 770.
I dropped my 770 out my pocket on the sidewalk once, the metal case held up and not one break! I'd be out of an n800 if it fell that way with it's pouch.

The n810 to me is ugly.
Looks like a cheap LG ENV or a Sidekick wannabe minus the phone part.
Dpad is horrid! Keyboard is according to Cnet:midiocre.

I sometimes find my N800 dowdy but I did find that a nice background does pretty it up.

Actually no. My field testing in this area has shown that the N800 can withstand repeated drops onto concrete with no apparent loss of function

My N800 is too beautiful to me to have that harsh treatment!

i've dropped it 3 times on concrete, exposed. besides a few scratches/chips, it's fully functional

I think mine has only hit concrete once, but asphalt a couple times, and tile innumerable. No functional damage yet; occasionally the front faceplate pops off, but it pops right back on...

Many uninformed people seem to think it's a games console, being the same colour as the original bulky DS I presume. It insults me when they say that...

My girlfriend liked mine so much, she bought an n800 for herself.
And her pet bunny loves trying to chew on a corner occasionally, so I'd say success all-round.
