So do you have the Unlimited Web + Text package or a separate Unlimited Web for $10?

try to change your settings in the internet connection settings.

tmo is working to get imei verification that will automatically detect if you are using a non-supported device and will eventually force those people to go from the $20 total internet package to the currant $25 plan.

tmobile 3g settings
epc.tmobile.com

tmobile internet settings
internet2.voicestream.com

if you have a 3g compatible phone on tmo, and only had the tzones, you could (not sure about within the last couple of months) change the settings and access the network!

worth a try. you have a 95, so you should know how to change the settings.

for all of us on non-supported devices, be warned that you may be getting a sms letting you know that you have an un-supported device and will be automatically upgraded to the advanced data package or call 611.

:/

I understand the Web2Go is the upgraded version of the t-zone but I don't expect it to be giving me so much trouble.

Those that upgraded with the Unlimited Text+Unlimited Web package, do you experience any problem connecting online? I just have the Unlimited Text and added the $10 unlimited Web and things are goddam slooooowww. HUGE mistake by switching. I may probably have to switch to the 500+Unlimited Text + Unlimited Web package....

I just missed my old plan.
Well, I got talked into switching my existing Tzones to the new plan by the Sales Rep and said I will save 5 bucks each month.... and all the sudden, no more web access. Called them up, i need to pay extra 8 bucks to be able to access to the web like before... I told TMO, no thanks, give me back my tzones (5.99) cos I know they dont offer tzones anymore. Glad they willing to revert back to my old plan. and now i get back all my web access.

Well, i got two lines, one with the tzones and one with the new plan. I dont see any differnet with the speed when both accessing the web.

So does the new Even More plan with Unlimited Web include the "total internet" package or simply the web... heck what is the different between the Unlimited Web and the Total internet package. I called Tmo CS but the representative told me its all the same. It just can't be all the same since the price is different.

I have the T-mobile internet access point set. It is the one I used now which is very slow... in fact, my GPS system won't even work now.

What is the access point name for the 3g setting? Though I do not currently have 3g access in my areas, it will be nice to have it setup.

I did not even have to change anything but was able to use the internet when I had the old t-zone. Now that I switched, I'm experiencing a great problem.

What do you imply by "non-supported device"?

You got your old plan back? They told me they can't do that for me... what did you tell them?

Ha! All I told them it is that,..... it is not my fault, it is your (TMO) fault telling me that I can save extra $$$ with the new plan in fact it is not. So they agreed to revert back to my old plan :>

Btw, the Sales Rep did having some trouble revert it back cos the system wont let her do that, but afer couple of holding and listening to TMO holding music, she finally able to help me revert back to my old plan. hahahahah. She told me it is easy to change to the new plan, but hard and take a lots of steps/work to revert back to my old plan. and glad she managed to do it, hahahah.

Unlimited Web + Text. However it shows up on my account as Unlimited Web + Text, and Smartphone Data ($20). But, I'm not charged the extra $20.

Since my temporary phone (until I get my n900) that I'm using doesn't support T-Mobile 3G I'm using edge with the access point: internet2.voicestream.com

tzone is only about 13k, total internet is about 56k

3g is better, but if you dont have the 1700, then total is the best you get.

With my T-Mobile plan, I get on average about 130k on EDGE and I've had it burst up to 190k on EDGE.
