Everything works fine when I use it. It is completely smooth (no bubbles), since I followed the SIMPLE directions. The texture is a bit different. It's not quite as smooth as the glassy feeling screen, but it works. Swipes are the only place where you might notice a different feeling.

I like it, but your mileage may vary.

Yes it does affect the prox sensor----it is covered. When you you try making a phone call, the phone tries rotating itself in all the modes: portrait & landscape. because the prox is covered----there is no hole for the prox sensor.

For anyone considering phantomskinz.com, I noticed their picture shows two holes.

I missed out on the Black Friday code, but using "winter33" made two N900 protectors $6.67 shipped.

can somebody with the skin and n900 take a pic of what it'll look like when you applied it to the phone?

I'm sorry, but do you even know what you're talking about? The proximity sensor has nothing to do with the accelerometer. Even without a screen protector the N900 will rotate in whatever orientation you have the device held when you're taking a phone call. The proximity sensor is ONLY used to turn on/off the lcd panel when you have the phone next to your ear.

so any confirmation that this screen protector will not affect the proximity sensor? The screen of the phone will still shuts off when close to your face?

I second that please, I already ordered my full body from Zagg, since I have had two cell phones and the n810 full body from them before and they both worked great. i never noticed any yellowing though like some ppl here say they see with zagg but after seeing that video blog post of that guy tearing up his n900 i feel good knowing zagg's full body is excellent for crazy scratches ( not that i would ever go so far like that but its just an extreme example ), though i hardly ever get scratches on my gadgets screens ( i take very good care of my stuff ) but the drop is my down fall especially with rather thick devices like this one so i need the full body i guess.
