not being able to use a phone in your company can definitely be a dealbreaker.

i'd say most of the issues you adressed can be fixed with updates. the question is, WHEN this will happen.

I tried Windows Media player but since I upgraded to Windows 7 it crashes each time I open it. I tried Nokia Music but whether I connected in PC Suite mode or mass storage mode it would just say device not connected in correct mode.

I wonder if this would be the solution to my woes. I got this as a combined phone/mp3 player/organiser and sold my ipod touch 32gb to cover some of the costs and would be very frustrated if I can't get the thing to play my playlists.
I am even a Mac user but I use doubleTwist rather than Itunes. try it!

I have the same problem with exchange 2003. So I use the outlook web access (OWA) on n900 browser to check email as a workaround. Have to find a way how to get email notifications though. Of course you admin has to make OWA available.
hope this helps

Same as on Microsoft Windows: Removing a shortcut from the desktop will not remove any application.
The shortcut on the desktop though is just for the *browser* to open the Facebook webpage.
A Facebook application is not installed on your device yet if you did not do that yourself.
