I found a great script for megavideo, check it out: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=42813

It starts a download but IMHO a stream is in most cases just another download.
What's great about it is that it doesn't ask for page source or sites like clipnabber.

Personally, I don't feel that I need any Youtube apps at all on the N900. Would be nice if I could directly open them in Media Player, but that's no big deal. I've watched entire Street Fighter tournaments on my N900, even some live tournament streams from ustream and it's all good (though ustream is a bit heavy from time to time).

So I figured it out and blew my friend away. We were driving, and I was like name any song. She named a song, and I was like give me a min or two, fired up zoutube, downloaded the song and saved it into video clips directory, it populates in the media player if you download the extra codec support, and I used the fm transmitter widget that is available in Extras-Devel, started the vid and in a matter of 2 min the song was playing through the radio.

Having the ability in a few min to download almost any song you can think of from youtube to be able to be played thru the FM transmitter is such an awesome feature. This is why the N900 is such a great phone, it just keeps getting better and better day by day.

You should check out audme.ru. Someone on these boards (I think) turned me on to this site, and talk about having access to any song you can think of...

The only problem seens to be that you can't stream the song directly from the browser like you can on your computer (odd limitation for the N900's browser) but the MP3's download just fine. It will probably get your time to listening to under a minute - impress the ladies!

Well regarding mYTube if the main developer is still around, I have a bug to report...
Didn't know if it had sense to post it in the garage since it looks inactive since 2008...

-a friend of mine installed it, played around and selected the "bin" folder as the default video folder...
yes... I know... :|

Anyway the problems are:
-uninstalling should remove the cfg files but this doesn't happen (now I have to manually find and delete the file if I ever want to use mYTube again
-the program should start by default in a friendly folder (MyDocs) and probably not show the entire file system.

Thanks

Hi, would you be able to tell me where to delete the cfg file? I chose a wrong dir and the prog probably couldnt create a dir and now it wouldn't start at all.

Which folder should I create the dir at?

Thanks!!
