Creating the png image on my computer then saving it to the n900. then I just copy the images i want to swap to Filebox's clipboard and then overwrite them to whatever theme I'm using. I think thats pretty easy without using ssh. You just have to enable root access in Filebox's settings.

hi ! what am I doing wrong, i'm using filebox and i replaced the lockscreen.png file and it works always the first time and then my system replaces the new file with the one I just overwrited that's kinda fun actually

thanks if anyone can help

Old thread but I don't really know where to post this...
... and since we're speaking of backgrounds, I changed the background image in the application manager by replacing /usr/share/themes/default/backgrounds/applicationmanager.png which worked like a charm. However, there is a two second period when HAM is launched (while the spinning icon on top shows) when the default background with the three default icons are shown, and I can't figure out where that background image is stored. Any ideas...?

@solbrit,

The screenshots are saved under /home/user/.cache/launch

I deleted all files in that folder and removed the write permission from that folder so that nothing new can be written there. It works OK.
