i tried checking the log file in /home/user/.local/share/tracker/trackerd.log anf here's what it says :

Tracker-warning **: could not add monitor for path:'/home/user/MyDocs/.sounds

Tracker-warning **: could not open directory for path:'/home/user/MyDocs/.documents

Tracker-warning **: could not open directory for path:'/home/user/MyDocs/.videos

Tracker-warning **: could not open directory for path:'/home/user/MyDocs/.cameras

I've tried

but it doesn't work as well..
any idea to fix this?

No need to be root, do
Code:
tracker-processes -r
as user, then wait a couple of minutes for the tracking to kick in again or reboot.
Did your session expire? Did you already enter some subforum to have the 'NewThread'-button?

Edit: There might be a corrupt file system that prevents the internal memory to be mounted rw or mounted at all.

i was having this wery same problem yesterday, and tracker processes -r didnt work for me neither.
so this one worked for me:
open Xterminal:
tracker-processes --hard-reset(hit enter and wait for little while)
then type:
/etc/osso-af-init/tracker.sh start(hit enter and media player starts to find your files)

I once had so thing like this happen, the issue was my /home was full, clearing some space there solved the issue (you should be carefull with what you delete there, some things are kinda essential)
