You'll still have warranty from Nokia, and once the 205 firmware does get released, you can always reflash & Vodafone will never know.

Just randomly checked the app manager and the minor update is in there. Looks like this might have been resolved! Updating now!

I'm seeing the same thing too - the 205 download site has stopped giving a 404, and the 2009.44.1 update have appeared there!
Shame it isn't the 2009.51-1 update, but it's a start

Have just finished installing .51 update. Everything is working nicely.
Looks as if I'll be flashing to 203 or other unbranded firmware this evening.
The whole reason for waiting for a UK released phone was to make sure I had a valid warranty. I think I wasted my time and should have purchased from the US.
BTW, I debranded my old n96 and still had a repair under warranty at a nokia uk care point. So I'll take my chances.
