If you were having so much trouble from the onset, for issues other than installing unproven apps, why not just return it for another?

You know it IS possible to UNINSTALL apps, right?

Also, You can cleanup after uninstalling using deborphan and some command line magic -> http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...ight=deborphan

EDIT -> Link in the above thread isn't working... Googled and found this instead -> http://packages.debian.org/lenny/arm...rphan/download

About the WinBlows comment: Well, this ISN'T WinBlows, this is Linux... And we DO have ways of cleaning up nicely...

Used over a month and no need for flashing... And I've installed many programs from devel and testing, some other reps too. Only problem is free space

What the hell are you doing or installing if you've had to flash 20 times?

I've only reflashed once and that was a result of updating a development version of MyMenu which resulted in my N900 constantly resetting itself, but many problems can be fixed without reflashing.

Just had a Media Player problem today and after a time looking at posts here, posting myself and people helping I managed to fix with X Terminal and some code
