But this pages tell you how to do it http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=41422 and this is a more technical explanation http://wiki.maemo.org/N900_USB_networking they tell you how to set up a network usb connection between you pc and your N900, you should be able to share your internet conection this way.
Thanks but I achieved all of that already. Like I said, the only problem now is to share my PC's internet connection with my USB. There is no detailed tutorial on this, and I haven't seen anyone posted that they succeeded in doing this.

And I tried setting up a wireless ad-hoc network on my PC, then connect my phone to it. It was able to establish the connection, but still there was no internet.

I think the main point here is internet, not network. I got the network (pc-phone) part down already, now onto internet.

If your pc is on the internet and the connection is shared and you then connect the n900 through a usb network connection,(as described in the post before) what happens when you click the web app? does it connect to the net or ask you which connection to use, if so is your network connection in the list of possible connections?

If you are trying to give internet to your phone from pc via any type of connection, you need to create a dummy connection on yor phone that will cause apps.to think a connection exists and also configure dns name server. There is an article in the wiki that explains it, i.edited it myself.

Yes, if I click on any web app, it would ask to connect to an existing connection. That's why I made an ad-hoc network on my PC. And after I connect my phone to that ad-hoc connection, it doesn't ask again, but internet is still not working on my phone. Can't the ad-hoc connection be used as the dummy network?

No, but in order to make any kind of connection on the phone (so that it doesn't ask for a connection), there is only 1 way that is to add a wifi network. An ad-hoc is conveniently also a wifi, so I used it to make a connection on the phone. Unfortunately, that ad-hoc still does not share internet with my phone.

Through a router . It's just to test. When I need this is when I'm at work with computers connected to LAN only (no wifi).

Looks like what I did, not exactly but similar, since I'm using Windows 7 x64. I wonder if that's the problem? (win7 64bit)
