Im using AT&T US With unlimited text and web with 750 minutes totals up to 45ish a month. But i have no 3g here My contract ends in less than 10 days and was thinking on swithing so i could get 3g. My plan is to go to tmobile and say... i want the same plan att offers me with 3g. if they cant do it, buh bye. Or ill try the flex pay plan. How much is that for unlimited text and web with lowest minutes?

I've got the $79 unlimited everything plan without any contract. Comes to $83.21/month.

I only got my n900 on February 5th. Had been on Sprint for at least 15 years using Treos. Never even touched a SIM card before.

I wanted to get on the $59 unlimited talk and text plan and add the $10 web. But I didn't have a dumb T-Mobile device to activate with. Or so I thought. Turns out I recently found one in a closet that belonged to a deceased relative. My n900's SIM card works in it.

I wonder: Should I try switching from the unlimited everything $79 plan to the $59 unlimited talk and text plus $10 dumb-phone web? The $10/month savings seems worth it. But not if there's going to be $35 fees for both activating and deactivating my plans as mentioned here. And not worth it if T-Mobile is going to figure out I'm exploiting a loophole in their system.

I just bought JoikuSpot for the n900. Even though I mostly use wi-fi for my data connection, I anticipate I'll be on vacation for a week some time soon with my laptop surfing on the T-Mobile connection. That's about when I figure they'd recind my plan. ;^)

if you want to be on the contract, then just get one of the phones that is free or only a few bucks, then craigslist it.
