Bought mine from In Touch Cellular in Bournemouth. Paid £460 cash - not the cheapest, but I don't want the cheapest service in return...

I had an X6 the week before but the general unsuitability of Symbian to handle what is otherwise an excellent product disappointed and frustrated me. When the screen started playing up I phoned Nathan at ITC and he took it back no question and I paid the extra for the N900. Good service costs good money.

I use Vodafone's PAYG and spend about £15-20/month. Mostly browse at home on wireless.

I'll probably upgrade to the next big thing in 12m or so - too much going on to be tied into a contract at the moment!

Yer GPS isnt the best. I tend to change the GPS setting from 'supl.nokia.com' to 'supl.google.com', tend to notice a better signal from them.

Mobiles.co.uk - £20 up front for the phone. £30p/m including internet. Went through Fatcheese.co.uk and got £35cash back on purchase. Traded in old n95 8Gb through fonebank for £121.

I wanted to buy SIM free but it always came out cheaper on tarrif.

Went from 3(not bad but not that great either) to Voda and I've got to say, it's an improvement from 3. The 500meg limit is not that rigid and they don't mind you going over a bit. Coverage is very good overall.
