Yup I read that too...quick question: if I already have the volumecontroldaemon installed, won't it conflict with AudioBooster? Follow-up question: do they aim at achieving the same things (headphone, speakers, earpiece)? Thanks.

User almehdi made a very useful application called n9tweak. In the latest version 0.2-1 he added startup script for the PreDriv so even after the restart the phone volume would be still set to 100%. No need to access the command line and change it manually.

You need to have "allow other sources" set in settings.
