Just noticed this app the other day and wanted to say thanks - works perfectly, and very handy as I'm normally sitting at my desk with my email 'closer' than n900

Also handy if your contacts have an sms->email forwarder - for example, I can SMS the wife by mailing 0123456789@gin.nl

great work and app, one thing though...now maybe i just dont have enough beer in me or too much but why/when would this be used.

there would never be a suituation where i would not receive the text, is this intended as a backup almost ?

I'm still trying to arrange the SMS as threads in GMail.

Would it be possible to use different text templates for incoming and outgoing messages?

In my case, I'd like to use this kind of templates:
- Incoming: SMS - $(SENDER)
- Outgoing: SMS - $(RECEIVER)

This way all messages to/from the same number will be recognized by GMail as being part of the same thread and could be seen like in the Conversations application.

Another super duper addition could be using Contacts names in the templates so it wouldn't matter what number a contact is using, all the messages would be sorted in one conversation (that's something the Conversations application can't do and would be very useful).

Edit: Just realized that it doesn't matter who's the sender or the receiver, the parameter $SENDER always is filled with the contact's phone number.

New version 0.3
I added a second subject configuration line.
Now you can set different subjects for incoming
and outgoing messages.
And another variable $(RECEIVER)
When forwarding incoming messages
$(SENDER) is replaced with the senders id and
$(RECEIVER) is replaced with your id and
when forwarding an outgoing messages
$(SENDER) is replaced with your id and
$(RECEIVER) is replaced with the receivers id.

For example, you can make this subject lines:
outgoing : $(SENDER) -> $(RECEIVER)
incoming : $(RECEIVER) <- $(SENDER)

What is the problem with CSSU,
for me it is working fine.

BTW there is a problem with nokia messaging.
If you have only your nokia messaging account and no
other email-ac****s, then it is not possible to configure
which email-account should be used.
