Solder up your usb port mate that is your problem, you could try holding the usb lead with a slight pressure untill the flash has completed on both EMMC and FIASCO... but am telling you now it is usb problem.

Just because your pc tells you it has flashed 100% dont mean the data was not corrupted by a hit and miss data line, the verify is not that good you know?.

A hit and miss data line would likely result in communication failure, and gross data errors would easily be detected. Silent failures would require something far worse going wrong and I doubt such an error was induced by whatever ammyt has done.
I say put the device aside for a while and let it charge, then redo the EMMC -> Rootfs flash. After that I'm going to assume PEBCAK.
