I use it to play Gameloft HD games and to play musics without gaps between the tracks....
If maemo had gapless playback... then I would be friggin happy and jump like a rabbit.

No OS can be like Maemo including MeeGo, I am the fan for Maemo OS - multitasking, too fast interactions and user friendly... lots more...

I am using NITDroid for runing Flash 10 and few market apps/games which I don't get for Maemo...

But I will be the most happiest person if we get good support for Maemo OS back again.. Also one bad thing is that developers moved from Maemo to Meego so very few update for existing apps. I will uninstall Andriod once "Alien Dalvik" is released for Maemo which helps me to run any Android apps on Maemo.

I used to think Maemo's initial version itself is that powerful than other OS... Finally according to me Andriod / IPhone / MeeGo /Symbion cannot reach Maemo...

Yes I found that too, uninstalled it I have stopped playing with it as use n900 for making phone calls too and NITDroid is not ready for it yet.

Use the below link for steps, you can download the latest version N12 UMay from the other thread with title as "[Release] N12 "UMay" - Android GingerBread 2.3.4"...

Rockbox supports gapless playback, the UI may be horrible and the keyboard may not work with it, but it does gapless.

I use it to read ebooks from my local library and for some games. But there isn't really anything there I find compelling, I haven't booted it in over a week and I don't even need to dual-boot because I have a spare N900.

I use NITDroid for a couple of reasons:

- i wanted to try android without having to buy a new phone
- to show off
- and most important! because i can get on my schools network with it!

my school uses an wpa2 enterprice connection wich i'm not able to conect to in maemo.. But if i'm on android it's lake a walk in the park..

i always thougt this was a hardware related problem..
so is there any possibility to improve maemo5 so i can connect to wpa2 enterprice?
