Does anyone know if this is included in the CSSU?
Thanks
Yep this happened to me too. Once I re-followed it step by step as posted in page 1, it worked. By the way, Did you try running the "fast" method by downloading the script?

I dont think that is necessary, as it really is straight forward. What step do you need help with?

When I enter first command my terminal said: "Package unzip is not available, but is refferred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source."
And now ovi maps dont load. Its just starting/loading screen.
I would be realy thankfull for any help!

I downloaded both of those items, as it wouldn't get them in Xterminal. Not sure if they got installed in the wrong place or what.

I'll start again.

Do we download those files and simply install them on the N900, or do they go to a specific folder? Thanks in advance for your help

i'll wait till we have more positive feedback, seems a bit hit and miss with some results.
Changing the language to english(USA) would this effect other programs reliant on regional settings?

or can you set it back once you have run the script?

Type:

Code:
sudo apt-get install unzip
Then try again.

DONE.

If anyone else needs help, go to Blaizzen's original thread on this (and thanks very much by the way) and follow those instructions. I also had Extras-devel disabled, so I enabled that and made sure I was on the General profile, and wi-fi connected.

Thanks also to Jiri, because following this worked for me:

http://www.pittnerovi.com/jiri/hobby...900/index.html

I had 1 error message which told me index.html was not found or something like that, but I'm not sure it matters (ha! noob alert!) as the thing now works, which I'm happy about, not just because the voice nav seems to work fine, but Maps is actually loading up again. And to think I was considering a reflash!! GULP!

Good luck

Make sure you do one step at a time. Also, do you have all the repositories enabled? Not sure if that matters. The easiest way is to download the sh file and do sh turnbyturninstall.sh from the terminal.

I have done that but still the same. Should I download some package or something or what would it say that?
