Voted positive.

Though I will do some more testing over the weekend and may leave a comment.

Great app! Keep up the good work!

Cheers,
Thomas

Is it already connecting so that you're seeing anything like on the screenshots in the first post, i.e. Music or Movies?

You're using xbmc pre-eden (nightly builds) with a version-number > 10, aren't you?

Hi Waynder.

I have the feeling that you are mixing up "xbmc" and "xbmcremote".

"xbmc" is the media center on the PC and "xbmcremote" is the remote control on the N900.

If xbmcremote starts up on your N900 and complains that xbmc is too old, you are already fine on the N900. In that case you need to upgrade "xbmc" on your PC.

Are you trying to install the package for the N9/N950 on the N900? That won't work. You can install xbmcremote on the N900 using the application manager.

Already installed now. But new problems arise and I am confused for this setting.
Requested "Connection Failed: Host Not Found", can help me to how to use it?? Thank you

Those missing applications sound like some dependy issues. Enabling extras-devel once only to install xbmcremote should help.

Anyway, you got it installed. Have you checked these:

1. Have you installed xbmc on your desktop-pc/htpc from here: http://mirrors.xbmc.org/nightlies/ ? For now you need to use one of the nightly builds...

2. If so, have you checked that settings->network looks like this?

You can change "port" if you like to.
You can't use username and password for now!

3. Enter the ip-address of your dektop-pc/htpc and the port from above in the settings-dialog of xbmcremote on your n900.

It should connect now.
