Hi all, I'm new to this MeeGo stuff, so have patience with me.

I've made a localized Slovenian keyboard layout and it works fine for me - also uploaded to MesInput. So far so good, everything works fine, I've only added extra characters to the extended_labels.

I'm having problems with the extended keyboard I'm trying to make. So it would have more keys than the regular keyboard but the layout seems to fall apart.
There seems to be a problem with adding more keys, the layout always "eats up" the last one on the right side. Please see screenshot for reference. Any help arround this matter would be appreciated. :-) Also attached is the XML file.

This is the localized QWERTZ layout for Slovenia:
No matter how many additional keys I try to add, there is always one missing on the right side.

The keys should be:
... UIOPŠ
... JKLȎ
Also note, the backspace is missing from the layout and there is a big gap left&right from space, disregarding the XML size property.

I also had that spacer problem and if I remember correctly I just removed the spacers left and right of the keyboard. Download my xml from first post and check the last row.

About more keys I dunno, try reducing the width of each key.

Check how I've done it in the Bulgarian keyboard (we have 30 letters as opposed to 26 in English).

@SLVR: Can I take your layout and merge it into Maliit repos?

No problem.

I've noticed that my keyboards layout don't work ok with preinstalled Twitter app. Special characters display as "?" after post is published.
The only workarround for now is to use the preinstalled layout "Čeština" (Chech). It could be an encoding problem of the custom layouts (UTF-8) or something.

Does anyone know where to find the preinstalled keyboard layouts to check this?
