Zune and WP7 deserve each other.

I think this is a good idea also and like some of the other members here, I think it is still a little rough. What I have so far found:

1) Notifications (e.g., missed call, SMS, etc) do not appear on the standby screen anymore

2) The behaviour for notifications on the lock screen has also changed, instead of swiping to go to the application, you've to tap and you can take various actions from there, e.g., for a SMS you can reply, delete, etc.

This indicates that a whole slew of new phone interactions can be introduced which would be good for the N9.

Not true. I have recently wiped my phone and the store remembered all my paid apps and let me download them again, no-charge.

Same here. And if you happen to have more than one Harmattan device, you also have to pay for an app only once.

In n900, you could only download one paid content for 5 times max with-out re-paying. I remember paying twice for the angry birds due to constant flash and sending to nokia for repair.

That limit was upped to 10 last month.

From what I remember there is only a 5 time download limit... Maybe it's been upped to 10 I don't remember... Either way I'm screwed as I reflash my N9 all the time...

This is like a half hearted Symbian^3 bubble-lock effort for the N9, if they released the Symbian^3 bubble-lock for the N9, I'd be all over that, it was something I still use on my N8 to this day, it's a shame they discontinued it so quickly....

Does anyone knows how to remove the 3 default preset "profiles"?
Edit: or at least, renaming them

See the files in /etc/profiled

Beware: I don't know if they're somehow protected by aegis.

Lol, not the real phone profile, but the 3 "zones" from the Zones app
