Browser = 50% usage, camera/connectivity = 5%.

Atleast it has Google maps, when you spend 4bil to buy a map company, you should improve it with search and local POIs, not keep it stuck in the same little hole.
I think there are alternative browsers for N8 like Opera Mobile and UC Browser. Symbian can also run Java apps and there are also Java browsers. You aren't stuck to one browser like WP7.5 because Microsoft will allow nothing else except IE in their store.

If the 808 is so horrible why did Nokia at first fear to sell it in U.S. and after pressure from consumers agree to sell it in U.S. but quietly and at a whopping price? Isn't Lumia good enough to compete?

No, it's not good enough, the Lumia will never be good enough for anything. They are giving the Lumia away for free and no one wants it.

I for one am giving no more of my money to Nokia.

Goodbye and Good Riddance Nokia.

Fool me 20 times, my fault.

Fool me a 21st time, well I'm not that dumb.

Lumiaman, you should open your eyes a bit more. The problem with Symbian from a user perspective is purely a cosmetic one regarding browser, social app and email. All that is improving, and there are alternatives like Opera etc freely downloadable. The problems with WP are fundamental limitations that simply can't be fixed by the end user.

Having said that, I have a bit more positive view of the Lumia now than only a few days ago. The UI is remarkable and the everyday experience is very good. I hope WP8 turns out to be good, or Nokia is dead.

You get the 808 for the camera first, then what you get is a lots of coolness in the form of Belle and HW.

you don't know that. You don't know what WP8 is. Even WP7 is realtime, and it's not like realtime capabilities is impossible to incorporate into the NT kernel. PureView is coming for the Lumia as well.
