in my experiance the N900 used to reboot atleast once a day. But the N9 was drastically different for me, it I just used it normally it wouldn't need a reboot, but the 4% bug did start to take the utter piss.

Whoever mentioned a Yahoo password problem--that happens on my Mac, and its totally a Yahoo issue.

As for the battery problem of the OP--clearly a hardware issue specific to his phone. If it were widespread it would be all over this forum. Totally outside of reality to think it's a bad phone design instead of the obvious lemon he has. With the problems described i wouldn't use the phone for a week. Who has that kind if patience. Sounds exagerated.

My 64GB white was from Finland. The rest I don't remember. There was clearly a variability in their quality. Buttons were not recessed well on some , perfect on other. It said to me that QC was nowhere as good as one should expect for high quality manufacturer. And its not Elop. Even Lumias can't compete quality wise with Apple. I had to return my Lunia 920 twice due to hardware issue. Nokia has not done well in QC department for a while. Apple is really setting the standard.

Hey lumiaman, are you trying to make the N9 look bad, or nokia. Have had several nokia fones. Non had any issue at all. My N8 was perfect. And N9 is just dope. Its like you just have bad luck when it comes to Nokia device.
Yeah I hate the map issue, bt it can b overlooked or just swipe it to the multitasking tab, and it should load from there.that always work for me. I also had the battery problem for a while had to abandon the fone for 3 days. Got back to it n disabled all the tweaks. Also uninstalled N9QT and all other apps I didn't need. And it was working fine again.

..that surely is the purpose of such devices. Let's not install or tweak anything; to actually have a very stable experience. And you see it for every platform, even desktops.

Just stating my experience. I was always a lover of NOKIA made phones, but I would like to believe that I am not a blind fan either. I will give credit, where credit is due.
