PS Word BIG in announcement makes me pessimistic. It can really be a phablet/tablet.
Well, the x86 tablets are quite mess actually driver wise, not to mention power consumption.

So I would rather welcome an officially supported ARM tablet running a real Linux distro. This is basically the only remaining form factor being server only be hacked together limited embedded distros.

Also I guess it might finally be a suitable time for a Sailfiosh OS port of Mieru.

4.7" amoled screen @ 720p fitting in the same TOH chassis design
snapdragon 'low-end' 64bit 410 SoC
4g lte
2GB of LPDDR3
16gb of storage
decent camera

that is the minimum i'd expect to see.

I gotta admit, I didn't think straight, but it can still be a bug in the counter.
Yeah, my first thought was that Jolla had updated the countdown, but this is probably a bug on the clock...

Could any of you confirm if the countdown (at 17:15 GMT) has more/less than 4 days and 19 hours left?

A tablet makes sense, Jolla will probably announce a new phone next year, which is a long enough product lifecycle.

The question howdver is, will any one buy a Sailfish tablet?

I will. Now that Vivaldi is no more, what choice do we have?

Big (not Boring as in a generic hardware sailfish tablet)?

-New modular phone keyboard + camera phone + Neo900 feature like audio line in etc... Unite the other parts.

-Sailfish images for other devices including tablets. Paid!

-Samsung dropping TIzen in favor of Sailfish

-Sailfish embedded OS for famous car brands / built in screens for kitchen toilet, pub brand etc..

The tablet I already have: its called my Jolla the First One. As there are better phones, camera's and music players in my drawers , tablet is what it became
