I use 0.1.7!
The alarm worked properly last week.
I went to the Clock/Date-configuration now and removed the "summertime"-tick. Now the alarm works properly again!
I can't remember if the time updated last week, while loading.

Okay sorry about that. The alarm times get a bit goofy if you set them before DST and then DST comes into effect; it's a problem with the tablets in general since there's no support for crossing back and forth over DST. Basically, after DST changes, make sure you manually update your alarms. Sorry, don't have a work around for that but it's a problem with the underlying OS that I can't fix... should not cause a problem other than at the actual time DST comes into/out of effect though.

AS for screen dimming, you're still seeing that as a problem in the latest build?? hmmm, I was pretty sure I'd fixed that... anyways, I'm just about to let loose another update to help try and address LABAUDIO's issues, so try out that one and see if it helps with the clock not updating problem. I do plan to add an extra option to let you keep the clock in "nighlight" mode, where the clock when running will keep the tablet's display at the "dim" level rather than full on or off, but I haven't quite gotten that far yet.

For everyone, latest Beta build is now available at Garage for testing:

This version crashes as soon as I open FlipClock. The error is:

Code:
NameError: global name 'name' is not defined.
Thanks.

Whoopsiedaisy, see that's what happens when I try to let out a release too soon! Anyways, updated to 0.1.8-2 at Garage, should fix that crashing thing:

https://garage.maemo.org/frs/downloa....8-2_armel.deb

pohlmeyr, probably the easiest thing to do is make sure you have the extras-devel repository enabled, and install the copy of flipclock that's up there (I believe it's 1.6); once you've installed that you can then upgrade to the latest version by clicking on the link for the garage file that I just posted.

Thanks for the patience everyone, sorry about that silly error!

Installed 0.1.8-2, tested out the alarm. Found a small bug. When the alarm goes off, the time is blanked out. In other words, when in flip clock display, the numbers disappear and just show the empty flip clock graphics. When in Night Light mode, the time displays 00:00. The time reappears when you tap the screen to disable the alarm.

can you test it :

set alarm for 10 minute later
close application

and see if the application open it and triggered alarm
