Hi guys.
Just an update. Everything is going OK here. I am planning to test if everything is OK by unifying the two partitions FAT (28GB) + ext3 (2GB) in one ext3 partition and use a 8GB VFAT MicroSD for photos. I will try that over the next few days, and if OK and if people are interested how to do that, let me know.
BTW, I tried the vodafone network on data usage first time today (got connected yesterday and till then I was using my Wifi). The only available signal I get when I am in 3G mode is "Vodafone Internet GPRS". As soon as I connect to that, the 3G changes to 3.5G.
Is the "Vodafone Internet GPRS" the only network for data usage or there is another one which is faster?
Cheers

Vodafone Internet GPRS is fine for me, getting great download speeds in 3.5g areas
utter rubbish in 2g, but that is to be expected
Looks like this thread is slowly dying out - MPD should have a few spares by now?!
