Hey, thanks for the information. I think a PM might have been better :-) I will contact them and ask why THEY smear my good name ;-)

I've never considered https. Will have to dig into the pros and cons, unless you have a good link for me? :-)

Hi,

I've never considered a forum, as I've never had the man power or BACKUP from skilled individuals to do that. If the situation ever changes, we can set one up :-)

This might slow down a bit the loading time of your site. You will also have to check your Wordpress Theme for compatibility - all links inside it will have to be with https, even those to twitter, facebook etc. This will be a bit of work, but It is doable. Tested myself with my webpage developer.

There is a plugin for wordpress which can help to redirect all the links but it generates many sql queries so not recommended.

Report: Several more Samsung Tizen phones in the works

Samsung and Google may be cozy these days, what with Samsung launching an Android Wear watch, and the two companies launching a cross-licensing deal. But that doesn’t mean Samsung wouldn’t like to have more control over the software on its devices.

So it’s probably no surprise that there are a number of new Samsung phones featuring the Tizen operating system on the way.

The first is the Samsung Z, a 4.3 inch phone with a 720p display and solid mid-to-high end specs.

According to @UpLeaks, Samsung could launch several new models in India… although some of those models could just be variations of the Samsung Z.

The report includes individual SKUs for 17 different models, although it’s likely that some of these phones are minor variations of one another.

They all start with the model number SM-Z, but we already know that the Samsung Z’s model number is SM-Z910, which suggests that the Z500, Z700, and other models could feature different specs.

The Samsung ZeQ had been leaked time and again early this year, with it having been seen as possibly Samsung's first Tizen phone. But after a number of delays on the part of Samsung, this NTT DoCoMo-slated device had been scrapped.

But now, images of the Samsung ZeQ had been leaked via the FCC, and SamMobile had obtained the snapshots of the unreleased smartphone.

As seen in the photos in the link, the outside looks very much like much of Samsung's many smartphones. An NTT DoCoMo branding can be seen at the top of the phone, while the specs were very much the same as Samsung's hardware.

This includes a 4.8-inch display, an LED flash on the rear camera, a Snapdragon 800 processor and a 2600 mAh battery. There are no updates on whether NTT DoCoMo will be resuming its plan to roll out the Samsung ZeQ Tizen phone.

Low-end Samsung Tizen phone apparently in the works; Samsung Z delayed indefinitely

The first handset from the Korean maker that was supposed to run Tizen has been delayed indefinitely.

So it might be a bit surprising to find out that the biggest smartphone maker in the world is working on another Tizen phone too. A few accessories for the Samsung SM-Z130H were recently spotted entering India by an import tracking website.

Judging by how those accessories are priced, it definitely looks like the Samsung SM-Z130H is nothing more than a low-end offering. That's further confirmed by its model number - let's not forget that the delayed Samsung Z is also known as the SM-Z910F. By Samsung's logic, a handset in the 1xx range will clearly come with lesser specs than the flagship 9xx series phone.

All that said, unfortunately we don't have any actual details about its innards, so all of the above is more or less speculation.

Now whether the SM-Z130H will ever see the light of day is a complete mystery, especially when you consider how many years have passed since we first heard that Tizen smartphones were coming.

On the other hand, Samsung has said it's still working on Tizen and Tizen-powered devices, so maybe you will one day be able to go into a store and pick up this SM-Z130H. Just don't hold your breath.

Hi.
Seems that Samsung does not feel comfortable with Tizen yet.
