Installing the version 5.0 simply bugs a lot of UI graphics, I'm sure I've followed the instructions exactly and it looks like that some folders are messed up... Luckly the remove file works...

Don't confuse the names of the two mods; fastern9 is a cgroups mod that modifies system files to speed up some processes by changing its priority while also changing the I/o priority so that generally you get a more responsive/faster device...

Faster N9 Transitions is a transitions mod; it doesn't play with system-level cgroups mods etc but simply those transitions when you click something to the time they transit into your screen are quickened up...For example if the stock transition for opening a conversation is Xms, then faster n9 transitions reduces the Xms to a lower value so the transition doesn't "waste" your time...

Both can be used at the same time without any adverse effects...
What about running FT together with Nokia N9/50 QuickTweak script number A/1-5?

The N9QT Tweak A is actually using Faster Transitions

However, IIRC Schturman hasn't updated it since v3.x or something like that so just use one of them and you are ok...

That doesn't mean you are going to get reboot loop etc using both; they just change values so its nothing of a big deal...You can use both at the same time but only the one applied most recently would be used...

Thank you, then I have to apply the FT again!

Strange running FT-install.sh it seems to tell several lines about can'f find directory etc but before to be able to read it, the N9 restart (and load with the red icons etc)?
Is it something to worry about?
(is it OK to have both themes FDB and ColorThemes installed at the same time?)

It means you haven't extracted the folder from the .zip correctly...

I don't understand, now tried in two ways with same result:
1) Transfer zip file from PC to MyDocs, then from Filebox click on zip file, then Extract files to MyDocs.
From terminal:
devel-su (rootme)
sh /home/user/MyDocs/FT-install.sh

2) Directly from PC extract zip file to MyDocs (mass storage)
From terminal:
devel-su (rootme)
sh /home/user/MyDocs/FT-install.sh

When you extracted the zip file the folder created is ~/MyDocs/FOLDER/FOLDER/files whereas it should just be ~/MyDocs/FOLDER/files

Edit: can you give me the output of

Code:
ls -al /home/user/MyDocs/FOLDER
where FOLDER is the folder you extracted everything to; it'll show whether you have an extra layer of directories or not...

Just to be sure about Folder before sending:
/.config/mcompositor/new-mccompositor.conf

/home/user/MyDocs/
faster/'folders'/'folders'/files
FT-install.sh
FT-remove.sh

Is it the 'faster' folder you want?
