Community developers are working on making the drivers behave with the N8x0's weird framebuffer setup. See the end of this thread for details.

presence of the source code where any person who wants it can download it (not "community developers") is evidence (important part of the definition) of openness.

Got the shrink-wrap today for quick testing it if works. Approved that the drivers worked in the manner we had reached before and gave feedback to TI guy. Minor changes to be made.

They'll hopefully end up on TI extranet very soon now (TM)

Delivery form seems to be a x86 binary which has the following contents (summary):

Linux and Windows Vertex Program Compiler
Windows PVRUniSco
L&W PVRTexToolGUI
L&W PVRTC
A training course (examples)
PVRShell(?)
Demos
OpenVG + SDK
debug version of GLES libraries (some of you might find this interesting)
PVR2D and of course, that it's GLES 1.1.

It comes with a console or X mode installer with a license.

For the people interested in licensing, I've attached the license terms for the libraries/demos/SDK (kernel driver is GPL)

Don't assume drivers that will work out of box and render happily to the screen - there's still work to be done on this as explained earlier in this thread, but this is the first step to make this possible. You will need to flash a new kernel (with extra DMA memory) and some other things as well.

Good news! Please make sure the "GL Kernel" also has rotation enabled, and all the other goodies that the community has been adding (faster SD card IO, etc)

The hope is to push the kernel + module out through community SSU.

And not to forget the Japanese FM radio frequency band support.
