I had a look but no dice... It must be in extras dev, surely with all these people using the app it should be in testing?

just wondered if it was being voted for, or perhaps why it's not in testing yet...

I found it an meego portal but it has a long installation procedure that involves app get, sudo gainroot etc

Why has an install package not been created? surely someone is willing to take up the job...? All these great pictures to create

It should be in extras-devel as an install through app manager

It's up to the developer to put it in extras-testing and then you can vote it to extras. But who knows it might never leave extras-devel cause it might not be the developers goal to get it to end users just to get it stable enough to work without problems. I couldn't say about this app though cause i'm not the developer and this info is just in general about extras-devel apps

As pasih says i allso have no problems or issues with it and to me it's perfectly safe to install. So if you choose to install then enjoy this great app

Reinstalled the newest version from devel and love this program. Sure it's not my wacom pad but on the go art you can't beat that. Haven't seen any issues with the new version.

Thank you again! ( Yes I did a thanks as well ).

Mypaint is going to extras-testing (and hopefully someday to extras). I have trying to push it to testing, but there are issues I didn't manage myself and now I'm waiting answer from repository maintenance. This is not my first package in testing, so I thought I know how to do it, but I only got i386-version in testing.

You can check situation on:
http://maemo.org/packages/view/mypaint/

I have promoted armel version, but only i386 version is in testing (showing missing dependency for mypaint-data, which is in same source package). I do not know is there any reason to vote i386 version, maybe it can be used to show we want this in armel-testing too.

Version16 is almost same than 15. It has only one typo corrected on shortcut menu. I thought there was some server issue (about going to testing) and made new package for that reason.

As usual I tried to search for it but got nothing, I can't ever find anything on this site

Thats correct, you need the armel.deb version. Have you tried to enable the extras-devel repo in app manager and searched there?

If you havn't, try that and if you don't have extras-devel repo make a new one in the dropdown in app manager and type this:

Maemo Devel
http://repository.maemo.org/extras-devel/
fremantle
free non-free

and then enable it. It will take some time to update the repo

e: remember to disable it after you're done
