This may be a noob question, but I was just looking at specs of Playstation 2 (300Mhz Processor, 23 Mb ram) and it seems that N9 is superior in all of them (not 100% sure about GPU), so might it be possible to include it in emumaser?

You wont see PS2 emulated on the N9 as it takes about 6 (some would say even more) times as much power as the console you want emulate.

The N9 has 1ghz cpu and it would take close 2ghz to run maybe more.

I don't think so and I've never heard of that. Dousan explained everything very well. And if there's some emulator available to the Galaxy note, the games likely won't run usable.

It is still very difficult to run PS2 games decently on most PC's and almost impossible on modern notebooks (if I'm wrong please correct me). Next to that emulators are very difficult to optimize so that they use available hardware as efficient as possible (e.g using the multi-core processors).

For a (more or less) satisfying emulation on any mobile phone you can't go further than PS1 and N64 right now - everything else if PS2 or XBOX will certainly come at some point (not N9 though).

TBH the only reason PS1 is so well emulated is because Sony actually developed the back ends of the emulators to be used in PS2/3 and PSP's

Why you think it was the reason?? Do you have any source code of these backends? Emulators of PS1 was before PS2 and PSP, so I doubt. It's not true.
