Sorry, sure, will do it in the next version. Qt SDK insists in bringing it back.

From 0.0.2 you can upgrade to 0.9.5 or 0.9.6 without problems. I wouldn't recommend 0.9.4 for 2 reasons: it's buggy and it's more likely to cause MALF. But it would be safer to wait for a week and see if anyone reports MALF in this two last versions. By the way, 0.0.2 doesn't cause MALF at all, so you can uninstall it safely if you wish.

Then if you have time, would try hard to get a MALF installing or uninstalling one of the two last versions? Just manually reboot your phone in different times while installing or uninstalling...

Hmmmm... Not a fan if 9.6. I upgraded from 9.4. Feed screen is a lot slower and lags when scrolling. Also a slight lag when switching to it, about 16th of a second. Didn't happen in 9.4. However i have noticed other speed improvements but i would prefer a fast feed screen.

Ok, so, both 9.6 and 9.5 have thoroughly messed up my phone.

I was using 9.3 since it worked FAR better than 9.4 for me.

I attempted 9.6, my phone rebooted during the installation, no malf, thank god.

Then I thought, well, it was said it was unstable, i'll try 9.5

Rebooted my phone, now it wasn't just a glitch.

Basically, long story short, everytime I try to install one of them, my phone reboots too early, and gives me an error under the app, I can't install it, or uninstall it.

Luckily, I had 9.3 backed up, so I installed that, and it went fine.

I'm gonna take the long route now, and go up to 9.4, and then 9.5, if it fails again... well, hopefully I can return it to 9.3 safely, or spend my night reflashing

EDIT: nope, same error even when installing from 9.4. It seems that it is rebooting way too early in the process, or something is not finished installing it.

Thankfully, just re-installing 9.3 over it seems to work, and that's what I continue running. Hopefully other people don't run into these issues, and they can be solved.

Rebooting is part of the installation. So, are you sure the installation was unsuccessful?

upgrading from 0.9.4 won't work for anyone, it's a bug in that version
