Someone with more in-depth knowledge can correct me, but how I see it:
python 2.5 has no "default" json module (unlike it's successors). Json can be obtained by installing python-simplejson. As such, it is NOT a part of the basic python installation.

So for that matter, it is not a standard package on the device (you can check yourself if it is installed) and not something for CSSU. I think a simple upload to extras-devel (see http://maemo.org/packages/view/python-simplejson/) is the way to go?

This should be packaged 2.0.9-1maemo2 and uploaded to extras-devel.

nokiamaps-navigation-provider (0.200-1+0m5) is in the repo, changelog:

- first FOSS release
- fix for geotagging not working in camera-ui(2) and account status "My Location" doesn't show your current location as a status

Err, it still does not show my location in Skype (the only IM I have), even after a reboot. Do I need to do anything else? The location icon shows a lock, but ISTR it was like that even before the upgrade.

could you explain what does "does not show my location in Skype" mean? what level of details did you choose? can you see your location in form of "@ $LOCATION" when you click on the status menu? anything in syslog?

"My location" is set to "City level". I go online. "Availability" goes green, the location icon starts flashing and goes steady after a few seconds, but nothing is shown under "Availability" like it used to:

You have to install it if you haven't done so... http://wiki.maemo.org/Documentation/.../maemo5/syslog

Otherwise the file is found in /var/log/syslog

No idea what could be wrong, I tested on 2 devices (mine and my GF's device), works fine

could you please reboot your device, enable location in account status, wait for 5 minutes and provide syslog.

also, may I have your GPS coordinates
